Our product is fully natural and its production method does not require harmful or toxic substances.
Our production method allows for more efficient usage of land compared to the production of other natural colorants. I.e., compared to Betanin production (the raw material for this natural red colorant is beet root), we use 10 times less farming space to cultivate sugar beets, to produce the equivalent amount of Natu.Red.
In our offices and laboratories 100% of electricity is from renewable sources, and 40 % of heat is from renewable sources (Will be 100% in 2025)
In the office, we separate and recycle the waste together with the innovation house members. In the lab we follow safety guidelines for the different waste categories.

We pay attention to the everyday safety and well-being of our employees and create policies that improve those. We also provide safety trainings for our employees e.g., First Aid Course, and we have a designated work safety representative.

To protect our employees we follow the guidelines of the employee protection agency. In 2022 we published an “employee handbook” addressing HR-related matters.
